Inclusive & Sustainable Economic Growth

Government has put in place several measures and initiatives that are intended to reduce poverty and attain the MDGs. They include the Poverty Reduction Strategy and Action Plan (PRSAP), which was launched by His Majesty King Mswati III in April, 2008. Through the PRSAP, Government gives priority to, inter alia, policies aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the economy; promoting international trade; broadening the revenue base; and expanding financial services.
